The Petite Performers’ Program is a fun, safe and high-quality performing arts experience. No audition is needed and a free trial class is available.

What we cover

  • Petites Stage 1 is designed to develop children's musicality, combining stretch, jazz and basic ballet steps with storytelling and mime for those turning four this year.
  • Petites Stage 2 continues to develop pre-schoolers’ co-ordination in basic ballet and jazz with the introduction of link steps and actions to form short dance combinations for children turning five.
  • Petites Stage 3 begins to challenge our young students' skills through more advanced stretching and jazz combinations. Through basic tapping technique, students will begin to develop their rhythm and timing.
  • Petites acting, acrobatics and hip hop are great for developing creativity in children where they will also learn about performance and expression.

TESTIMONIALS

  • Thank you – I just wanted to say as a ‘first time’ mum with a 4yr old doing her first ever year of dancing – it was a very well-organised concert rehearsal, very slick operation and therefore very reassuring!
    Cheers, Anita
  • Thank you for the Petites 1 trial class on Saturday. Tiffany absolutely loved it and has not stopped talking about it. Nadia is really lovely with the kids.
    Regards Susan
  • Just wanted to say what a fantastic day it was yesterday.  I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed myself, I walked away from both concerts with my cheeks hurting from smiling so much!!Georgia thoroughly enjoyed herself with the chaperones, she told me she had “lots and lots of fun”.  It was wonderful hearing her say that she had a great time, it makes us as parents feel so confident to know that they were safe and happy.  She was also ecstatic that she received not 1 but 2 trophies!! Her first!! Thanks to all involved, you guys should all be proud of yourselves – bring on the rest of the concerts – if the petites was so good, I can only imagine what the rest will like- can't wait!!WELL DONE!!!  LOVED IT                                                                                                                    Stacey
  • Thank you for another wonderful Petite concert and a special thank you to Miss Nadia, you are amazing and inspirational to say the least, my daughter loves you.  Elena
  • I just wanted to pass on a HUGE congratulations to you and the Brent Street Team for the Petites concert. It was my first experience with a Petites Concert and I thought it was very well run, very professional and a great opportunity for all the children to get on stage. The chaperone arrangement worked perfectly, every act made me smile (for different reasons), the costumes were fantastic and all in all it went so smoothly which is amazing given the sheer number of young children.Well done - we're already looking forward to next years concert.Cheers

  • I just wanted to send a quick email to let you know how impressed I was with the organisation, professionalism and quality of the petites concert that was held at the Seymour Centre on the 6th of Nov. My daughter, Samantha Doyle attends the 10 am Thursday class and had the time of her life and is keen to get back on stage. Miss Nadia is a credit to your company and is totally idolised by her students.  Her nature puts all the children at ease and her enthusiasm is to be commended. Thank you for the experience. Kind regard
