New CSTD Contemporary Training for 2012

Brent Street has announced the introduction of the new Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) contemporary dance program, the Jason Winters Contemporary Technique™.

The Technique is a unique, world-class contemporary dance syllabus, presented exclusively by the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) and will equip Brent Street’s Young Performer students with the necessary skills for an elite career in dance over six years of training.

From the Foundation level to Stage 5 students will master skills from leading contemporary teachers including the course’s creator and Head of Contemporary Dance at Brent Street, Jason Winters. CSTD will also roll out the syllabus across other dance education providers, both nationally and internationally. Jason Winters Contemporary Technique TM will form the basis of the contemporary dance curriculum at Brent Street and allow students to undertake annual CSTD examinations as they currently do with tap and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) classical ballet.
