2011 Brent Street Fulltime Grad
Brent Street's 2011 Certificate IV in Performing Arts (fondly known "fulltime" ) students have graduated in spectacular style in Sydney tonight.
The entire cast performed superbly in routines that covered all dance genres and soloists sang songs from all eras. Australia's leading choreographers including Kelley Abbey, Jason Gilkison, Squared Division, Marko Panzic and Jason Winters joined a capacity crowd at NIDA Parade Theatres to witness the spectacle.
Brent Street's Artistic Council representative Steven Heathcote said it was an amazing evening and he noticed a marked improvement in all performances. "I thought the singers were incredibly strong this year. Brent Street is reknowned for it's dancing but the singing has moved ahead in leaps and bounds!"
Cameron Mitchell, Brent Street's Artistic Director was thrilled with the students and the audiences reaction. "I'm happy and grateful to the wonderful team of teachers who came together to make this year's grad outstanding. It has been a remarkable year with so much talent," he said.
