Wayne Harrison  - Artistic Council member

Wayne Harrison is a renowned director and producer, the former CEO of the Sydney Theatre Company and was recently awarded the Hayes Gordon Memorial Award for his contribution to Sydney theatre. 

His recent credits include:

  • Director and co-producer of Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which played at the Sydney Opera House in January 2011.
  • Director of Absinthe, which opened at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas in March 2011 and is enjoying an extended run.
  • Producer of Mom’s Remixed, for the Arts Club in Vancouver, which recently had its second Canadian tour.
  • Director of the world premiere of Ron Elisha’s Stainless Steel Rat for his own production company, Cheep.
  • Director of his first feature film, Codgers, which was released in June 2011.
